Sowohl das Brautkleid als auch der Brautkranz, Symbol für Jungfräulichkeit und Reinheit, wurde aus Wäschetrockner-Flusen gefertigt.
Das Weiß des Kleides ist nicht mehr rein, sondern grau-stichig, rötlich, mit Haaren und anderen Schmutzpartikeln verunreinigt.
Das Brautkleid steht für den Punkt im Leben, an dem für viele Frauen der Weg in die Abhängigkeit und unbezahlte Care-Arbeit beginnt.

Both the wedding dress and the bridal wreath—symbols of virginity and purity—were made from tumble dryer lint.
The white of the dress is no longer pure, but tinged with grey and red, contaminated with hair and other particles of dirt.
The wedding dress represents the moment in life when, for many women, the path into dependency and unpaid care work begins.
